Knit your Love

Hey hey and Happy Nicholas Day!

I hope Santa Nicholas didn't forget you and brought you some goodies, or worst case scenario..I hope you didn't get a stick and some potatoes :)). I didn't get anything material but let's say it brought us something else..and to give you some hints: it is something that we both love to do, it will take place starting tomorrow...and of course you will find everything about it if you follow me on Instagram :D If not, whyyy oh whyyy?! :)) Go hit the FOLLOW button -> @andyandra is my IG name. :)

Until then however, I was dying to show you this look which I just adore..I'm obsessed with the color combo and with the pieces, either taken separately or together. You probably noticed that I love these sweaters from Chicwish since I already had 3 of them, but I couldn't resist this white / ivory turtleneck one which is just PERFECT for winter. The SWEATER is extremely warm (honestly, it's perfect for minus degrees Celsius!), the quality is amazing and the details are just adorable. I took the biggest size because I wanted it to be oversized and I'm glad I did..we all know I love a chunky sweater, don't we?! :) I can't wait to wear it again with all kinds of jeans, pants, skirts and even over dresses. :D

The pleated SKIRT drew my attention due to its feminine, light, romantic shade of pink and I thought it would look great this season, but it would also be perfect for spring. The skirt is made out of a soft, very qualitative velvet material which is also flowy but it will keep you warm. Just lovely! The length is also very ME so no further explanation is needed :)

 In order to create some contrast and because I love the pink and burgundy / plumy color together, I added a coat and some accessories in this shade. I already wore this COAT in a previous post, but I thought it would go so well with this look that I could not have left it behind. And so I created a whole outfit from the same website and trust me, all the pieces are beautiful and of a very good quality. I just love the result. :) I would love to hear your opinion on it :)

Wishing you a lovely weekend,
A.

P.S.1: On another matter, there is something going on with blogger and google and co. because I cannot comment with my G+ account anymore, I don't know why. Also there is a change in my insights..again I don't know why. Does anyone know what's happening? Any advice would be much appreciated!

The Velvet Midiskirt

Sweater / Pulover - H&M || Skirt / Fusta - HERE / AICI (*PR Sample) ||
Boots / Cizme - H&M || Belt / Curea - Gucci || Bag / Geanta - Love Moschino

Quite festive, quite early, you might think...and I don't blame you, you are right! But the cold past days and this lovely green velvet SKIRT put me in the holiday spirit already and I can't wait for Christmas to come. So I decided to arrange a cute little corner in a christmasy decor and make my balcony a shooting spot. :) And if you don't know what to wear for Christmas, this SKIRT could be the answer and that is for several reasons: 1. it's thick and very warm, 2. it's elegant, 3. it's versatile and it can be style in many ways, 4. the color is perfect for this time of the year, 5. the fabric (velvet) couldn't be more appropriate for this occasion.

I wore the SKIRT with a sequinned off-white sweater, which is also quite festive and makes me think of Christmas, a pair of black over the knee boots and some black and gold accessories. Some fairy lights, a cute red Poinsettia, a fluffy blanket, a faux fur and some pillows and there it is...the cozy-winter-home-decor. :) What do you think of this look & photos? :)

The black cape

 Cape / Capa - HERE / AICI || Blouse / Bluza - H&M || Skirt / Fusta - Zara || Bag / Geanta - Zara || Boots / Cizme - Diva Charms || Beret / Bereta - H&M

A cape coat is definitely a piece which didn't made its way to my wardrobe, well..until now. As I like to try different things whenever I get the chance and you know how much I love wearing coats, this time I decided to choose and style a different type of coat: the CAPE.

In case you didn't know, a cape is a sleeveless coat which is to be worn over different long sleeved blouses, sweaters, dresses, leaving the sleeves of the latter items to be seen. Or it can be worn with long gloves. In my opinion, a cape coat is quite an elegant, feminine piece and can be worn on several occasions. I chose a black cape because I thought it is the easiest to style and it goes with everything, but black is also the most elegant non-colour. I love its golden buttons and I think they make this piece look more expensive than it really is and I also like the scalloped edges, which give quite a nice touch to it. I would have liked the fabric to be thicker so that I could wear this cape during the cold days of winter as well, but during the not-so-cold autumn days this is just perfect.

I paired the cape with a patterned blouse in order to make the cape stand out and emphasize its cut and shape, but also because I thought it looks more interesting. Then, berets are my tiny obsession at the moment and I finally found the perfect red one which makes me think of that parisian chic again. Paris, mon amour!
I also added a red bag to match the beret and my red lipstick and finally, the over the knee boots, which are a must-have for winter.

What do you think of this look?

Have a lovely weekend,
A.
