Spring Mood

Are you also as sick of the cold wintery days as I am?! I wish I wouldn't complain about this subject so much but I can't and you have to bare with me. We had some lovely sunny days last week and that only made it worse since the cold days have returned. However, I did catch a moment during those pretty days to shoot a more appropriate spring outfit and I am thirsty for moooore. :)

This time I went for a beige - white - blush pink colour palette and I started creating it from this amazing SWEATER. First of all, I have to tell you that this sweater is handmade, it has the best quality and the most adorable details: pompoms and puff sleeves. I also loooove its colour and it couldn't be more perfect for this time of the year. I can honestly tell you this sweater was love at first sight for me!

I wore it with a pair of snake print leggings, but of course over a white shirt which was long enough to cover everything beautifully (we all know how I feel about wearing leggings like pants without covering your bum) :P. A pair of flats with a cute bow detail and my beige / taupe bag....et voila, I was almost ready. Yes, I also added this beige coat which I wore a lot lately. What do you think?!

Nude colors & SS19 trends

This spring - summer we wear beige and nudes! It continues to be one of this season's biggest trends and I wanted of course to comply with it, even if by the time I took these photos was still quite cold.

I created my look starting with this super soft, warm and gorgeous SWEATER which is perfect for winter but also for the chilly spring days. It has an oversized style which I totally love and a really long turtleneck which had to be rolled several times 😅 and will keep you extra warm. I also like the black / beige stripes and its coziness. I decided to wear the sweater with a pleated PU leather skirt, which I haven't worn in ages and my suede brown boots. I added my sandy coat and a taupe bag to the whole ensemble and there you go...I gathered all the shades of nudes in one outfit. 😀

On another matter, spring was for me all about pastels and cute bright colors, therefore this trend was quite a surprise for me. Don't get me wrong, I love beige, browns and nudes but I think they are more appropriate for autumn, don't you think?! Anywho, this season there is a little something for everyone: prints, neon colors, bleach colors, utility overalls, cycling shorts, big unconventional hats, bows, fruity coloured suits (this I'm particularly happy about), feathers, fringes, macrame appliqués and lace.

A Pink New Year!

First of all I would like to wish you a very Happy New Year! May your 2019 be filled with joy, health, wealth, love and may all your wishes and dreams come true!
As you probably noticed, I took a break from the blog because I was on holiday in Romania and I wanted to enjoy my time there and spend as much time as possible with my loved ones :) However, I was still pretty active on Instagram, so you can always follow me there if you want to stay updated. :) (@andyandra).

Even if I wasn't around here much, I prepared some outfits to show you this month and one of them is today's casual look, just perfect for the beginning of this new year. I shot it with my mom before Christmas and I think it's the perfect everyday winter look. A cozy, soft and very warm SWEATER which has some super cute sleeves and a lovely design is perfect for this time of the year and you can never go wrong when pairing it with some grey jeans and biker boots. This sweater will definitely  look great with skirts or even some white trousers too and its colour makes me think of spring already. You can find it HERE.

The cherry on top is this adorable faux fur JACKET, which has an amazing quality, it's warm and super fluffy..and one can never have too many faux furs, right?! In my defence, I didn't have a white / off white one and I really wanted to give it a try as I think it is quite a versatile, easy to style piece.
