London baby, day 2 & 3

Day 2. Looking back, I cannot believe it's already been two weeks since we were there. Boy, time flies!

Anyway, we spent a lovely second day in London, by walking about 15 km again and discovering more treasures which this city has to offer. The day began with the awesome breakfast of course, but moving on to the visiting part, we started our journey just like the previous day, by walking on the right side of the Thames river but this time up to London Eye. Being a Saturday with 25-26 degrees C, you can only imagine how full of people it was. We waited in the queue for 30 (might have been 45) minutes to get on the London Eye, but eventually it was worth it. We got a 5* view above the city from there and it was actually very relaxing and enjoyable. After that we went on foot up to the Tower Bridge and we just made some short stops along the way and on the London Bridge, to catch our breath and take some photos. :) We then crossed the beautiful Tower Bridge to see the Tower of London, but we decided not to go inside since we were facing a very long queue again and we wanted to get to see the National History Museum as well.

In order to do that we had to take the subway for some stations up to South Kensington but about 30 minutes later we got to the museum and there..guess what!? We had to wait in the line at the entrance. :)) We were already quite tired but luckily this didn't last that long.
The museum is home to life and earth science specimens comprising some 80 million items within five main collections: botany, entomology, minerology, paleontology and zoology. The museum is a world-renowned centre of research specialising in taxonomy, identification and conservation (Source: Wikipedia). Also, the entrance is free and I think they encourage the intake of knowledge by not having an entrance fee, which is great.

So anyway, we spent about two hours there just by making a quick tour and then we decided to search for a nice place to eat, preferably a terrace since the weather was so pretty. This took us way back, somewhere near Leicester Square, where you can find many terraces and restaurants and we actually found one somewhere at the back of the buildings where there were two small theaters and the restaurant was in between the two stage doors of the theaters. Well, the food was not extraordinary, I must admit, but the location was pretty cool - it reminded me of all those movies picturing the old streets of London, Sherlock Holmes style :).

Finally, we decided we couldn't leave London without going to a pub and luckily there was one close to the hotel so we didn't have to walk too much since our feet were in such pain :)). It was a looong day, but definitely a great one, full of memories.

Day 3. We didn't do much this day since our flight back was at 2 p.m. and we had to get to Heathrow Airport, but on our way to the subway I saw that beautiful pink tree so I couldn't help it and I had to snap some photos. I love all the pastels in these pics and I think my blouse blends in perfectly. :)

[EN] ..but don't worry, it's just on the outside, cause on the inside I'm super happy. It's a holiday and a free day here in Germany, so there will be a looong weekend, the weather is wonderful and tonight we fly towards the first holiday destination this year. It will be a short one, but I'm super excited and looking forward to explore it. On another matter, off-shoulder items are just my favorite this season and apparently I can't stop enlarging my wardrobe with them. Even better if they have this wonderful serenity / baby blue shade. So you can imagine that THIS DRESS was meant to be mine because of all the above mentioned reasons and also because of the beautiful white crochet details which make it even prettier. The fabric is soft and light and I decided to wear a cami dress underneath just to be on the safe side, it has a delightful color and it can be worn both with heels and flats / flat sandals. I can't wait to be able to wear it on a beach somewhere 💙. You can find it HERE.

[RO] Referitor la titlul postarii, "I've got the blues" inseamna, la figurat, "eu sunt trista". Nu va faceti probleme, eu ma refeream la sensul propriu al zicalei datorita tinutei, si de fapt sunt chiar fericita. Astazi este sarbatoare aici in Germania, asadar avem parte de o zi libera si un weekend prelungit, vremea este superba, iar diseara zburam spre prima destinatie de vacanta din acest an. Va fi o mini vacanta de fapt, dar ma bucur enorm si abia astept sa ne apucam de explorat. Va voi spune doar ca este vorba de un oras, iar daca vreti sa aflati mai multe va trebui sa ma urmariti pe Instagram (@andyandra), Facebook si Snapchat (andy-andra) ;). Yay!

Pe de alta parte, piesele vestimentare cu umerii goi sunt preferatele mele in acest sezon si se pare ca nu ma pot opri in a-mi mari garderoba cu ele. :)) Cu atat mai bine daca sunt in aceste nuante minunate de albastru precum serenity sau albastru deschis. Asadar, va dati seama ca ACEASTA ROCHITA trebuia sa fie a mea din diferitele motive mentionate mai sus dar si datorita detaliilor albe crosetate, care o fac si mai draguta. Materialul este moale si subtirel, iar eu am ales sa port o rochita alba pe dedesubt pentru a nu avea surprize, culoarea e superba si poate fi purtata atat cu tocuri cat si cu balerini sau sandale joase. Abia astept sa o port undeva, candva pe malul marii. 💙 O puteti gasi si voi AICI.

favorite pastels

[EN] Hey loves, how are you these days?! I wanted to show you today a simple, yet a cute outfit composed of my currently favorite pastels: baby blue (serenity) and light pink (rose quartz). For me spring is all about pastels and I think these two go wonderful together. They are so feminine, soft and lovely that I would wear them all day, every day.
Anywho, I have quite an obsession at the moment for off-the-shoulder blouses and I can't wait for summer to come to be able to wear them more often. As in for the pants, I've been searching for something different than jeans, some pants which would go both with sneakers and with heels, not very thick ones but also not too thin, a bit loose and cropped. Quite demanding, I know haha, but I finally manage to find these ones at H&M. They are super comfy and soft and I love how they look in both casual and elegant combos, so I had to get them in two colors: light pink and black. However, if you are interested you can find them also in navy blue or with a certain pattern. Finally, I just added a white clutch and my heels with floral pattern because I like to keep everything simple, yet chic. Remember, less is always more.

[RO] Buna dragelor, ce mai faceti voi?! Astazi vreau sa va arat un outfit destul de simplu, dar dragut, outfit pe care l-am creat folosind pastelurile mele preferate: albastru deschis (serenity) si roz deschis (rose quartz). Pentru mine primavara inseamna sa port culori pastelate, iar cele de astazi mi se pare ca arata foarte dragut impreuna. Sunt foarte feminine, finute si dragute si daca as putea le-as purta mereu.
In momentul de fata imi plac foarte mult bluzele lasate pe umeri (cred ca mi-am format chiar o mica obsesie pt ele :)) ) si abia astept sa vina vara sa le pot purta mai des. Cat despre pantaloni, imi doream altceva decat blugi, niste pantaloni care sa se potriveasca atat cu sneakers cat si cu tocuri, nu foarte grosi dar nici foarte subtiri, putin mai lejeri si mai scurtuti. Cam multe pretentii, stiu haha, dar am reusit in final sa ii gasesc pe acestia la H&M. Sunt foaaarte comozi, materialul este tare placut la purtat si merg in ambele combinatii mentionate mai sus. A trebuit evident sa ii iau in doua culori: roz deschis si negru, iar va intereseaza, ii mai puteti gasi si pe bleumarin si alte modele cu diferite imprimeuri. In final am mai adaugat tinutei gentuta alba si pantofii cu imprimeu floral si cam atat, pentru ca imi place sa pastrez totul cat mai simplu si chic. Tineti minte, putinul inseamna tot timpul mai mult.

The Midi Skirt - 3 Outfit Ideas

[EN] I always like to try new things, so today I thought to show you three outfits for more inspiration, one being my own and for the other two I created a collage. As you can see, they are all created around a very stylish, lady-like item, the midi skirt. The temperatures are slowly rising and we start to wear skirts and dresses more often (at least I do) and one of the items which is a must for your wardrobe is definitely a midi skirt. You can find them in all colors and patters, it's up to you what you choose, but I can assure you, you can never go wrong with such a skirt. It is perfect for holidays (Easter, for e.g., since it is just around the corner), daytime parties, even nighttime parties if you choose a dark colored skirt, going out for a brunch with your friends, in fact the options are unlimited. I find them very easy to style and you will always look great and classy, so thumbs up for them!

To tell you a few words about these outfits now, I chose to wear my white midi skirt because I missed wearing it and I wanted to mix it with some blue clothes since light blue (serenity) is also this year's color and since I had so much pink lately on the blog :D. Turns out I couldn't stay away for too long (look below) haha, but blue still takes this post over. I got the floral top last spring but I didn't manage to show it to you until now. It is sort of a crop top, very flowy and soft and I love its pattern and the fact that it has several shades of blue, which enabled me to mix it with a light blue coat and a dark blue pair of shoes. This is definitely something I would choose to wear on Easter or at a daytime party/celebration/garden party.

The other two outfits I created are more on the pink side (haha!) but I couldn't help myself when I saw the two gorgeous midi skirts. I think they are sooo pretty and perfect for spring and summer! You can easily pair them with white, black, b&w, nude, fuchsia, etc tops, but I chose a very pretty striped one for the pink skirt and a white off-shoulder top for the floral skirt. The heels are lovely too and I think they make such a great combo with these skirts. Finally, I added two small bags which can be worn as a clutch or on the shoulder, one in black for the first outfit and the other one in pink for the second outfit. [RO] Imi place sa incerc mereu ceva nou, asa ca astazi m-am gandit sa va arat trei tinute intr-o singura postare, pentru un plus de inspiratie. Prima tinuta este purtata de mine, iar pentru celelalte doua am creat un colaj si dupa cum puteti observa toate cele trei tinute sunt create in jurul unui articol vestimentar foarte stylish si elegant - fusta midi. Temperaturile cresc incetisor si incepem sa purtam tot mai des fuste si rochii (cel putin asa fac eu), iar una dintre piesele pe care trebuie sa le aveti in garderoba este cu siguranta fusta midi. Le puteti gasi in toate culorile si imprimeurile posibile, depinde doar de voi ceea ce alegeti, dar va pot asigura ca nu veti da gres niciodata cu o astfel de fusta. Este perfecta pentru a fi purtata de sarbatori (de exemplu de Paste, daca tot se apropie cu pasi vertiginosi), la o petrecere in timpul zilei sau chiar seara daca alegeti o culoare mai inchisa a fustei, la un brunch cu fetele, si de fapt optiunile sunt nelimitate. Mie mi se par foarte usor de asortat si arata mereu frumos si cochet.

Dar sa va spun si cateva cuvinte despre tinutele de astazi. Pentru tinuta mea am ales fusta midi alba pentru ca imi era dor sa o port si am vrut sa o combin cu niste piese albastre, din moment ce albastrul deschis (serenity) este si ea una dintre culorile anului 2016 si oricum am avut parte de mult roz aici pe blog in ultimul timp, trebuia ceva nou :D. Bineinteles nu am putut sta mult departe de roz (uitati-va mai sus) haha, dar totusi albastrul este predominant in aceasta postare. Topul cu motiv floral l-am achizitionat primavara trecuta dar nu am apucat sa vi-l arat pana acum. Este un fel de crop top, dintr-un material subtire si matasos si imi place mult imprimeul sau si faptul ca are mai multe nuante de albastru, ceea ce mi-a permis sa il combin cu un palton albastru deschis si o pereche de pantofi albastru inchis. Aceasta tinuta as purta-o cu usurinta de Paste sau la o petrecere pe timpul zilei.

Celelalte doua tinute create sunt mai mult de partea rozului (haha!), ceea ce am vrut sa evit pentru un timp dar nu m-am putut abtine cand am vazut minunatiile de fuste midi. Mi se pare atat de dragute si perfecte pentru primavara si vara! Pot fi cu usurinta combinate cu topuri albe, negre, alb & negru, nude, roz inchis, etc., dar eu am ales un top cu dungi pentru fusta roz si un top alb lasat pe umeri pentru fusta cu flori. Pantofii cu toc sunt atat de draguti, imi plac tare mult acele fundite pe glezne, si mi se pare ca merg de minune cu fustele. In final am ales doua gentute care pot fi purtate atat ca si plic, cat si pe umar: una neagra pentru prima tinuta si una roz pentru cea de-a doua. Toate produsele sunt la preturi incredibil de mici si v-am lasat link direct catre ele mai sus, sub imaginea cu tinutele.
