Baby blue with a twist

Hey, hey, hey, it's Monday again! I got myself a big cup of coffee and I'm trying to write to you some words along with this new set of photos which we took yesterday. Cause yes, we only take photos during the weekends. :) As you can see, the wind blew like crazy again and it drove me quite coo-koo but hey, I'm getting used to have all kinds of impediments when I intend to shoot something new :)
Nonetheless and FIY, I enjoy every moment of doing the "blogging thing" and I don't think I ever liked doing something else more than this.

On another matter, the skirt that I'm wearing today gave me some "headaches" until I found the perfect combo to wear it. Well, perfect for me of course. Cause I could have easily added a pair of black heeled sandals and a black bag, but I am not really into wearing heels at the moment, I don't know why. Plus that I like to add a little twist to an outfit and make it "my own" :). But let's start with the beginning: the skirt is adorable, the fabric is light, silky and flowy, just perfect for those hot summer days, and I love the fact that it is not see-through. The shade of blue is adorable and I like the tie detail at the waist, as well as I love those ruffles. :) It is super comfy and it can be easily dressed up or down to be worn on different occasions. For example, with a black top and a pair of black heels you can easily wear this skirt on a night out, with a pair of flip flops / espadrilles you can wear it at the seaside (can't wait for that!), or you can wear it like me, on a summer Sunday afternoon in the city. :)

But to get back to the twist I added to this outfit, well first of all, the blouse I am wearing has in fact a normal length, but I tied it at the back and wore it as a crop top simply because I liked it better like this and, as that was not enough, I also wore it back to front. :)) Then I added the ruffled bag (isn't it adorable?!) and the black slides, which are some of this season's must haves. Finally, I also added my favourite summer accessory, the straw hat. Et voila, I was ready to go! :)

What do you think? Wishing you all a happy Monday and a beautiful new week!
Love, A.

Baby Blue & Graffiti

Blazer / Sacou - HERE / AICI || Corset / Corset - Zara || Blouse / Bluza - Stradivarius ||
Pants / Pantaloni - H&M || Bag / Geanta - Zara || Heels / Pantofi - Primark |

It's Monday (yet again), so there is a new outfit around here :D This time however we leave the flowers and all the cute stuff behind and we go a little bit more underground. Babe found this super awesome and artsy location last week and I still had one more outfit prepared so we went to see it. A whole street full of graffitis and art galleries, but also with cafes, small restaurants or bars here and there - super super cool! I totally loved it and I definitely wanna go back there sometime.

Regarding the outfit, well I recently saw this baby blue BLAZER on the website and I instantly thought that it would be perfect for spring. I already had a coat in a similar color, but I thought that a new blazer is always a good idea and I particularly loved the color of this one. Moreover I love it's simplicity and the fact that it's very easy to style, either in an elegant way with heels, or in a more cool, casual way with sneakers (see my last photo). Another big plus is its length and the fact that is longer than the "normal" blazers, which I definitely like. And I shouldn't forget to tell you that the fabric is very soft and it is not so thick, therefore it's definitely a good investment for summer as well. :) You can check it out HERE.

As you can see, I composed this look starting with some basics - a pair of black pants and a striped blouse, to which I added the blazer. I couldn't leave it too simple even though that would have been fine too, but I decided to embrace the trend of wearing corsets over clothes and therefore I tied everything with a black corset. I think this definitely makes the look more interesting and it adds that little extra something to it, right? :D

Happy Monday everyone!
Hugs, A.

Late autumn in #pastels 💝

It's Monday again and even if it was a bit hard waking up after a full weekend, I couldn't wait to start showing you the result of a hard working day when my dear friend helped me take tons of photos of the new stuff I got and I still haven't finished yet. :) That means, many many new outfits coming up around here, stay tuned!

Anyway, until a few years ago I hated autumn and winter and all the cold weather and what comes with it. But as the time passed and we grow older (I guess) we start appreciating things differently and so it is with the seasons. I tried to find the bright side and I actually realised there are so many reasons to love the cold season, reasons which cannot be applied to summer, for example. And so it goes:

- YES to fluffy sweaters
- there are colorful leaves everywhere
- a hot tea, chocolate or coffee will always warm you up
- it is the perfect time to snuggle under a blanket and read your favourite book
- it is finally the right time to light up those lovely scented candles
- warm socks
- the smell of cinnamon and fresh oranges
- Christmas is coming!
- the crisp air
- apple cider
- blanket scarves, mittens and gloves
- movie nights
- stylish boots
- waiting for the first snow
- bonfires
- (faux-)fur coats and vests

And last but not least, one of my favourite things about fall/winter is that I can finally wear coats again and even if I already have a bunch of them, it is never enough. Every new season must come with a few new coat(s) and the first one I chose this year is of course a lovely pastel pink one, in a style I never had before. I love the drape collar and the fact that you can wrap it around your waist. The 2 pockets are always a plus and its length is perfect. The quality of THIS COAT is very good and I totally adore the fact that I can dress it up or down, depending on my mood. Whether I choose to wear it with sneakers, flat ankle boots, with heels or heeled OTK boots, it just doesn't matter because it goes with everything and you can create super stylish late fall / winter outfits with it. THE COAT is perfect for a late autumn day and you can wear it even in winter over a fluffy, cosy sweater.

This time I chose to wear it with some more pastels because they look so feminine and beautiful together and such a combination is always a delight for the eyes among all this season's dark colors, right? :) The floral heels are brightening every outfit and well, pink will be my happy color regardless the season. :)
You can find the coat HERE, on SALE.

Let me know what you think of this look and which are your reasons to love/hate the cold season.

Have a great week,
A.
