My go-to summer look 💛

Hey loves, I know I haven't been so active around here lately but there were some busy times for me as we were in Romania, visiting the family, after which I changed laptops and I still have to get used to the new one (especially when it comes to editing photos -> hence the size of these ones :D). Also, on Monday and Tuesday was mine and my hubby's birthday, but we celebrated them last weekend with our dear friends in Lindau and at lake Constance. Well, it was more on the lake as we rented a boat and enjoyed some cake, a glass of prosecco and the good weather there. It was lovely and different than any of the birthdays we had and I'm really glad we went for it. You can see some photos on my Instagram (@andyandra) and I might make a post here as well, but I'm not sure yet.

Meanwhile though, I have a cute outfit I wore on Sunday while enjoying a coffee on the terrace in Lindau. On a warm summer day this would always be among my first choices: a light & flowy summer dress, my favourite sandals and a straw bag. Straw bags were very in this summer and besides the fact that they look great, they are also very roomy and you can fit a loooot in there. And you can wear them at the beach, but also for street style looks..only pluses for it, right? Oh, I forgot to mention that I actually found mine in my mom's closet (thank you, mommy! :) ) and I love the brown / beige combo and of course, the cute bow. Also, if you're looking for such a bag, you can find some pretty cool ones now on SALE. As in for the dress, the color might be a bit odd for some of you, for me it was however love at first sight. Not to mention that the fabric is extremely soft and I found it on sale, at an amazing price. You gotta love summer sales, haha.

The two-pieces set & a pop of pink 🎀

[EN] Hello my dears, I hope you had a great weekend. What crossed my mind today was a very well-known phenomena of staying for hours in front of a full closet and having no idea what to wear. Sounds familiar?! I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one having this problem :))
So I thought of showing you a lovely two-pieces set which will definitely save you in situations as such. One high-waist pencil skirt in a nude/powder pink color and a white crop top with ruffles is the cutest solution one can go for:
- they are perfect for summer,
- the colors enable you to style them really easy,
- you can wear them with high heels, flats or even sneakers, depending on the occasion,
- and you can always add a vest, cardigan, jacket.
Super easy, right? :D

I found it HERE for only 8$ (!!!) and I chose to wear it with my colorful sandals from Zara (now on SALE), a powder pink clutch which goes perfectly with the skirt, to which I added that furry pompom to match the sandals. Finally, I added a khaki top which I worn as a vest just for a little bit more color. :)

[RO] Buna dragelor, sper ca ati avut parte de un weekend fain. Ce mi-a trecut astazi prin cap a fost fenomenul foarte des intalnit la noi, femeile, si anume acela de a sta in fata unui dulap plin ore in sir fara sa avem vreo idee cu ce sa ne imbracam. Va suna cunoscut? Sunt foarte sigura ca nu sunt singura care are aceasta problema. :))
Asa ca astazi m-am gandit sa va arat un compleu tare dragut  care, cu siguranta, va va salva in situatiile de genul. O fusta creion cu talie inalta, intr-o minunata culoare nude/roz deschis si un top alb, scurt, cu volanas este cea mai draguta solutie pe care o puteti adopta in astfel de situatii:
- sunt perfecte pentru vara,
- culoarea lor va permite sa le asortati foarte usor,
- puteti sa le purtati cu pantofi cu toc, balerini sau chiar tenisi, in functie de ocazie bineinteles
- si puteti oricand sa adaugati o vesta, un cardigan sau jacheta.
Nimic mai simplu, nu-i asa?! :D

Eu am gasit acest compleu AICI la doar 8$ (!!!) si am ales sa il port de data aceasta cu o pereche de sandale colorate de la Zara (acum la reducere), o geanta roz deschis care se potriveste perfect cu fusta, careia i-am adaugat acel ponpon pufos in aceeasi nuanta cu cea a sandalelor. In final, pentru putin mai multa culoare, am adaugat un top kaki pe care l-am purtat pe post de vesta. :)

Helloo, helloo I hope you are having a lovely day so far, even if it's Monday. :) Mine is sunny, yet very cold and I'm pretty sure that the true winter just started.Brrr..
Anyway, I would like to tell you a few words today about how to style a white shirt dress, especially during this season when it can be a bit problematic because of the low temperatures. First of all, I find a white shirt dress to be very classy and chic, a piece which can be worn in several ways and for several occasions. During summer is of course easier to wear, but in winter is also possible. I got mine HERE and it is just so beautiful: the fabric is very good (I think it is cotton), it has long sleeves but you can also make them 3/4 or even shorter and I love the fact that it comes with a fabric belt which you can tie around the waist and get that pretty bow detail.
 
Therefore, a first choice of wearing it is of course layering. You can always add several layers of clothing to keep you warm, some skinny jeans, a pair of boots and you're good to go. Sure, you can choose this when you want to go for a casual look. On the other hand, if you want to go for an office/elegant/even night out look, you can get inspired by my choices. I went for a black and white look, because...well, we all know why. I simply love these combos. I chose a pair of black coated skinny jeans, which I've been wearing constantly since I got them, and I went for a houndstooth printed coat, which has that certain something. The boots have a golden detail just like the bag and they both match perfectly my new statement necklace, which is all about the amazing back detail. We usually care more about the front perspective, but look how those asymmetric fringes fall on the white shirt and how cute, but also interesting it is. :) I would love to hear your opinion about it and how would you wear a shirt dress :)

edgy gray

I wrote this last night, so read accordingly..:)

It is one of those nights when you take a break and look at the time, after browsing and scrolling down on Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram again and what not, and you realize it is already 1 a.m. and you cannot sleep. Yes, this is what happens to me right now and as much as I like losing myself in the world of Instagram & Pinterest, I thought I could in fact use this time in a productive manner by writing to you. However, you should know it is the first time I do this. I always write my posts during the day, especially around noon or in the afternoon. I also wrote some very early in the morning but never late at night. I can't tell you exact why but I think it has to do with the fact that I was always used to do my things during the day, starting with Primary School and up to University. I know there are persons who concentrate better during the night, but I was always studying during the day and preferred to relax at night and have a good sleep. Ok, there were some exceptions like the nights before an exam when we had to "fatten the pig", but that's another story haha.

Hmmm, seems that I'm on the right path with the writing, so I will tell you some words about my outfit. The center piece is definitely the GRAY COAT and I've been longing for such a coat for a really long time. You know I love coats and I already own a bunch of them but the gray one was not in my wardrobe so you can see what happend (guilty as charged). Besides the fact that it is part of this season's trends, I love the chic, clean, minimalist look it gives to the outfit. I also like the edgy cuts and the big pockets, and of course the oversized structure. The fabric is perfect for the autumn days and with a bit of layering can also be worn during winter. This time I chose to pair it with some flare jeans and a turtleneck sweater, gray heels and clutch, to which I added my statement necklace from Happiness Boutique and my favorite black hat.
