French Vibes

Coat / Palton - HERE / AICI || Sweater / Pulover - Zara || Jeans / Blugi - Zara ||
Beret / Bereta - Zara || Bag / Geanta - Valentino by Mario Valentino

Hey loves, how was your weekend?! Hope you had a great one :) I had quite a full one and it started with me attending on Friday the event for the opening of a NA-KD fashion pop-up store / corner in Galeria Kaufhof, Stuttgart, which was lovely. There were cupcakes, champagne, juices, good music and of course lots of beautiful NAKD items waiting for us to try on.

On Friday evening we also took a very last minute decision to visit another city on Saturday, and the city was Metz, a town in the area of Lorraine, France. We left early in the morning and it was again quite a long trip - 315 km one-way, so basically we visited the city for only a couple of hours, but it was a beautiful sunny day even though it was quite cold. I loved the old buildings and shops, the cathedral, the covered market and all the vintage French vibes of the city. We also bought a few french goodies (wine, cheese, bread, etc), so this was another big plus. :)

For this trip I decided to wear my new yellow COAT which has some adorable details, like the ruffles on the sleeves and the pearls and which I thought it would be perfect for autumn and would definitely make your outfit stand out. The color is in fact more of a mustard yellow, which for this season is even better that a yellow, the fabric is very soft and I love its design and oversized style. I decided to wear the COAT with a striped sweater (because what looks better with a bright strong color than stripes, right?! :) ), a pair of black mom jeans and my black sock boots. I also added a beret to match the French atmosphere :) You can find the coat HERE, and it comes in several colors (the pink one is to die for!).

Also, I've been dreaming for a long time to take photos next to a carousel and I missed it when we were in Paris, but I found a carousel in Metz as well and so my dream came true...yay to that! What do you think of the photos? What about the outfit?

Have a great new week,
A.

Paris, mon amour! 💛

 Dress / Rochie - HERE / AICI (*Werbung / PR Sample) || Jacket / Geaca - Zaful ||
Beret / Bereta - H&M || Bag / Geanta.- Valentino || Sneakers / Tenisi - Converse

Hey hey!

If you follow me on Instagram (@andyandra) you probably noticed that I was in Paris last weekend. Yes, I finally get to see the famous city of love and I'm very happy I did because I honestly fell in love with it. I saw many photos taken in this city, therefore I had an idea of what to expect but I can truly say that it is even more beautiful in reality. I loved the buildings, the architecture, the small chic cafes on the streets, the restaurants, the vibe of the city and even the crowded touristic attractions. We were lucky to have a lovely weather throughout our entire stay and that was also a big plus.

We took a direct train from Stuttgart and in about 3 hours we got to Paris. Super easy and comfortable, right?! Friday afternoon and Saturday were reserved for wandering and discovering this amazing city, including of course all the famous attractions (Tour Eiffel, Trocadero, Place de la Concorde, Pont Alexandre III, Champs-Elysees, Arc de Triomphe, etc.) but also two places which I saw on Instagram and wanted to see so bad: La Maison Rose and Le Consulat. On this occasion we also got to see the famous Moulin Rouge and Sacre Coeur and a little bit of Montmartre, a wonderful neighbourhood. On Sunday we went to see the magnificent and mesmerising Versailles, but more about all this in a future post.

These first photos were taken on Friday afternoon, right before our boat ride on the Seine and I wanted to show you what I wore that day. I went for a lovely polkadot wrap DRESS, with long sleeves and ruffle details which was the perfect choice for a warm autumn day. The dress is double layered so you don't have to worry about it being transparent and the fabric is good and comfortable to wear. I paired it with some yellow / mustard elements because I think this colour is very autumn-appropriate and I love its contrast with the black and white dress. Not to mention that wearing a beret in Paris is quite a must, right?! :D Finally I added a pair of Converse because I knew there was a lot of walking involved and my Valentino bag.

What do you think? Have you been to Paris?

Love, A.

Never met a stripe I didn't like

Dress / Rochie - HERE / AICI || Bag / Geanta - Zara || Sandals / Sandale - Zara || Earrings / Cercei - H&M || Sunglasses / Ochelari de soare - H&M

Surprise, surprise, more stripes in today's post! :D And if the horizontal ones weren't enough, I decided to add some vertical ones as well, in the background :)) You guessed it right, this is the second DRESS I found on the same website and I completely fell in love with it the moment I saw it. The light blue and white, the off the shoulder detail, the midi length, they all make it the perfect summer DRESS and I can only imagine how pretty it would look with the sea in the background. Even if this type of stripes might make you look a bit "wider" than you are, the beauty of this dress makes you give it a try. As a tip, you can always add a belt to emphasize your waistline and some heels / wedges..et voila, problem solved!

I wanted to create a bit of a contrast, therefore I added some yellow accessories and a pair of colourful sandals, but as you can see that wasn't quite enough so I put myself in front of a door with red stripes too :D And I quite like the result, but I would also love to hear you opinion about it!

You can find this dress HERE, at an amazing price!

Have a lovely new week,
A.
