 Hello hello!

Since this post is so autumn-appropriate I thought of sharing with you some of the reasons why I love this season. But first of all, I have to tell you that autumn hasn't been exactly my favourite time of the year..until a few years ago. I used to associate this season with the rain, the moody days, the transition to cold weather and winter and even with the beginning of the new school year which, let's be honest, was always difficult after a 3-months long summer holiday. :)

But not very many years ago things changed and I started seeing the real beauty of this season, its uniqueness and the fact that each fall gives us some things which none of the other seasons give us. To be completely honest, Pinterest, Instagram & Co. also inspired me and helped me see the beauty in everything, but that's another story.

So why I started to like this season?!
- First of all because of its amazing colors which none of the other seasons give us. Of course each time of the year is unique, but autumn has those lovely colorful landscapes, those crunchy fallen leaves, pinecones, acorns and so on. These all GOLD for the photos :D
- Then, it might have something to do with the age, but I even started to like eating pumpkin,  generally in form of a cream soup (I can make a delish one!). I'm still not a big fan of the pumpkin pie, but this is easily compensated with the Pumpkin Spiced Latte from Starbucks which is TO DIE FOR and can only be found during autumn.
- I can wear beiges, maroons, burgundy, all kinds of earthy colors which are mostly perfect for fall.
- We can finally light candles, have warm long baths, cuddle under fluffy blankets.
- Cinnamon in everything. :)
- Warm socks, boots, coats, hats and scarves!

Now, to mention something about today's look...it is probably my favourite one lately! The SKIRT is so beautiful and well made. I just love the fact that it is made out of a suede fabric, it is quite thick and I will be able to wear it when the weather gets colder as well. I paired the skirt with a beige sweater, a pair of nude heels and added a taupe bag and I totally love how classy and lady-like this outfit is.
I can definitely recommend you this skirt as the quality is really amazing and I think that this is a timeless piece. You can find it HERE and they have it on mustard as well.

Do you like this season? If yes, why? Also, how would you wear this skirt? I would love to hear your opinion in the comments.

Have a lovely new week,
A.

Floral Corduroy Dress

Dress / Rochie - HERE / AICI || Belt / Curea - Gucci || Bag / Geanta - Love Moschino || Boots / Cizme - Primark

Hey hey hey!

Last Friday I received some new packages which I can't wait to share with you, therefore be prepared for quite a few new outfits and regular posts...and of course more fall inspo! I just love the autumn we are having, with over 20 degrees and sunny days. I know that these temperatures are not exactly normal for this time of the year but we can't complain, can we?! However, I am sure that once the cold weather comes, it will be around for some looong months, therefore let's enjoy this while it lasts.

Anyway, today I chose to show you a very cute corduroy DRESS which is in fact suitable for colder weather since the fabric is quite thick and which also makes for the perfect autumn dress, from colour up to style and fabric. I didn't have any corduroy items in my wardrobe until now and since this fabric made its huge comeback for AW18, I decided to give it a try and so I went for this brown / mustard DRESS. I loved its print, the high neck and long sleeves with ruffle detail, its interesting style and colour and I thought it would be just the right choice for this season. To complete the outfit, I only added my super comfy pair of sock boots, my beloved black belt and a black bag and I was ready to bounce :) Therefore, if you are a dress-kinda-gal like me and you don't know what to wear during the cold season, a thick, corduroy DRESS might be the answer for you. :)

Do you like corduroy items? How would you wear this dress?

Have a lovely week,
A.

Burnt Orange in Luzern

Coat / Palton - Primark || Shirt / Camasa - H&M || Jeans / Blugi - Zara ||
Belt / Curea - Gucci || Boots / Botine - Primark || Bag / Geanta - Love Moschino

Hello October!

I can't believe that September is also over and there are only 3 months left of 2018. Time sure flies very quickly. If I were to make a short retrospective, September was truly beautiful and warm, it was more of a late August and I totally loved it. At the beginning of the month there was Paris, after which some short trips and quite a few outfits followed. :) Sun, beautiful days and warm hues.

But now October is here and the temperatures dropped a bit, it finally feels like real autumn and the first days of the month were quite moody and cold. However, on Tuesday we decided to go on a short trip to Luzern (Lucerne) in Switzerland, city which is about 260 km away from Stuttgart. Truth be told, it is a bit far away for a one-day trip as you spend 3 hours on the way there and 3 hours back (if you are lucky enough not to get caught in traffic jams), but we really wanted to see this city and the weather was on our side. It was not very warm (I would even say it was chilly) but at least it was sunny, so I decided to match the season outside and wore my new coat in a lovely burnt orange colour. This colour is a first in my wardrobe and I find it so interesting and special, not to mention that it screams fall, and so I waited for the perfect moment to wear it. Also, you know how much I love coats in the cold season, so I couldn't wait to be able to wear these outwear pieces again. The rest of the outfit was quite simple: a pair of blue jeans, a white shirt and some black accessories, to which I added a pair of leopard print ankle boots, which are also very autumnal and match the no.1 trend of the season - the leopard / animal print. Moreover, this print will always take your outfit out of the ordinary, but the key is to wear just one piece in this print at a time : e.g. a skirt, a dress, a pair of shoes, a bag, etc. and keep the rest of the outfit very simple.

I selected a few photos of the city as well because it was so beautiful and worth showing, together with my #outfitoftheday. :) What do you think?

Have a lovely end of the week and of course, weekend!
Love, A.
