24 Days of Christmas Blogging - Christmas Outfit #2

Hey there, my darling ones!

Here I am, as promised, with a second outfit which can be worn tomorrow (OMG, it is already Christmas Eve!), on Christmas day or even for the New Year's Eve. This time I chose wonderful velvet dress, in a great burgundy shade or if you like, a wine red shade, which is just perfect for this holiday. This dress has an A-line shape and a deep V-neck, which is why I chose to wear it with a turtleneck top underneath. The quality of the dress is very good, the fabric is unbelievably soft and I love how festive this dress looks. I decided to add some more black elements, like the black bag and a pair of fishnet tights, but when it comes to shoes, I wore a pair of burgundy stilettos. Last but not least, I also chose a pair of gorgeous burgundy earrings from Pretty Purple Boutique, which were the perfect match to my dress (thank you darling!:) ).

Sammydress Colorful Bag

Yuhuu, it's FriYAY everyone and not just any but the BLACK one :)) There are sales and promotions everywhere so you can get some pretty good deals at the moment. I'm guessing everybody's going wild right now together with the websites and our bank accounts :)) Anyway, I think Black Friday and Cyber Monday are some very good opportunities to buy some of the Christmas presents at a better price.

Return to our sheep now, today's outfit is a more elegant, lady-like one because I like to dress up like that from time to time. And now that the weekend is here and the holidays are getting closer and closer I thought that it couldn't be a bad idea to show you such an outfit, right?!

Actually, I put up this outfit around the little BAG which I recently received from Sammydress and which is totally adorable. The different shades of pink, blue, black, white make it easy to style with different clothing pieces, whereas the fabric is very interesting and definitely something new in my closet :). The golden details gives the BAG a more elegant vibe and makes it look more expensive than it actually is. As you can see, the bag is quite small but I think its size is perfect for a night out or for the times when you don't need to carry a ton of things with you. :)

Since I wanted to make the bag stand out, I kept this look's color palette quite simple by wearing only black and beige/nude. The blouse is definitely my favourite due to its ruffled sleeves which make it so special and lovely, while the midi skirt needs no explanation at all as you already know how much I love this type of skirts. The heels might need a few descriptive words though: as you can see, I transformed my plain, nude heels into a pair of cutie pies by adding the bow clips from Pretty Purple Boutique. The clips are very easy to use and can be added to any type of shoes for a total makeover :D.

I was thinking the other day what made me create this blog and, besides my passions for photography and fashion, there was also my friend and colleague from the Master program who talked me into this. I'm really glad she did and I want to thank her again!

Why? Because I realized that writing here relaxes me, it is something that I enjoy doing. Everyday, after a loooooong, busy day I can't wait to open this page and post something new or read your comments/other blogs. And yes, I'm not the type who writes a novel everytime I start typing, in fact I never was the type and never will be. I'm an engineer, my life usually spins around formulas, so it's pretty hard to become a totally different self when I write something here. But, for me, even a few lines are enough to make me feel good. Doesn't matter if those lines are about clothes or sunshine or rain or a place which I visited, it matters that I am glad afterwards for sharing my thoughts with you.
I probably told you before that I had another blog some years ago (not a fashion blog), and I got bored pretty fast. I would have never imagined that this one would get to a point where I can even call it addictive. But it's a good addiction, it's something that disconnects me from the daily routine for a few moments and that's why I keep coming back. :)

About the outfit, I always liked this type of green and together with black and white it makes a lovely combination. As you already know, I'm really glad for finding that coat and it definitely is the most perfect thing for spring. What completes my outfit are those gorgeous green earrings which I won (yay!) on one of my favorite blogs, Fashion Painted Dreams.
