Mustard Yellow

 Sweater / Pulover - HERE / AICI || Poncho / Poncho - Esmara by Heidi Klum || Skirt / Fusta - Shein.com || Loafers / Pantofi - Zara || Bag / Geanta - Love Moschino

Hello hello,

It's Monday again but, if we are to look at the bright side, we finally find ourselves in the last week of November, this being my least favourite month of the year. Well this and January, but due to the recent very sad events which took place in my life, this month became least least favourite. If that is even possible.

Anyway, in a few days autumn will be officially over and I feel that I didn't have very appropriate autumn photos this year, but that happened for several reasons:
1. We traveled to warmer destinations during this season.
2. Autumn came very late here in Shanghai. In fact, we still have days with temperatures of 20 degrees Celsius sometimes.
3. If you can imagine, it's actually very hard to find fallen leaves anywhere as they pick them all up very fast (funny story), etc.

So, when I saw this yellow tree and a few fallen leaves under it (score!) I had to take advantage of it asap and what better way of doing that if not by matching the background with a beautiful mustard yellow SWEATER ?! I love this color for fall and I actually didn't have anything like this in my wardrobe so this was a very good time to put my hands on something in this shade. And I'm glad I did because I like this SWEATER a lot! It has lantern sleeves, which makes it more interesting, and a beautiful diamond pattern. It is indeed a bit sheer, but this can be easily solved with a top underneath. I created a casual, yet chic look by wearing this sweater with a faux-leather midi skirt, a leopard print poncho and a pair of loafers. This is definitely something I would wear on a daily basis and I think it would be suitable even for the office. If you think that the faux-leather skirt would be too much for the office, you can always change it with a plain black one. :)

On another matter, I received many new items lately which have to be photographed in a short time and since I don't have a photographer all the time, my photography skills had to get to level 97926391 and I started to use the tripod and remote control, hence the phone in my hand. I thought we should clear that up so that you wouldn't think that I'm so much into selfies. :P Actually, I don't even remember when I took the last selfie.

Have a pretty new week and stay tuned cause I have many new outfits prepared for you :)
Hugs, A.

P.S.: You can find this sweater HERE, on SALE and you can use the code "LauraZF" on your checkout to get a discount (for e.g. if your purchase is 30$, you will pay only 27$, if it is 50$ - you pay 45$ and so on).

Fall romantism

Hello my dears,

Last weekend I met my dear friend and we managed to shoot two outfits which I couldn't wait to show you, so here is the first one: a perfect fall outfit, which gives me a romantic vibe on one hand and on the other hand, together with the fallen leaves, some melancholic feelings too. It is definitely among my favorites because of the color combination and because of the location with which I truly fell in love. I chose a burgundy dress and paired it with my first pair of over the knee boots, a black hat and clutch. The OTK boots are a must-have this season too, so if you don't already own a pair you should definitely get one. I absolutely adore them for looking amazing in all kinds of combos and for being super comfy and keeping me warm. Last but not least, I added my plaided poncho in a different color palette and this made the look more interesting and very autumn-appropriate.

Besides the fact that it was difficult to choose only ten photos, as I usually do, a thought crossed my mind: I might be slightly obsessed with Primark lately. Yes, you might think that the quality is not exquisite, but I must tell you that if you know where and what to look for, you can find pretty cool stuff at great prices. Actually, I'm very satisfied with everything I bought so far and didn't have any bad experience with their products. Sooo I hope you like today's outfit, I'll leave you now with the ton of photos and I'm waiting for your opinion :D

Have a great week,
Andra

fall essentials

Hello my beauties,

The fall season is here exactly from the 1st of September, but only on Saturday got quite cold so I was able to put up a proper fall outfit. This could only make me happy since it enabled me to wear some of my latest purchases, fact which immediately lead to giving you some ideas of what you should invest in this season. I will reduce it to five essential items, but I might give you some more ideas in my future posts.

1. Ponchos - definitely the most popular item this season. They can be found now in almost every store, in different colors, but the most appropriate for this season would be the ones in earthy colors. I find them to be a very good investment since they keep you very warm and they can easily be combined with jeans, pants, skirts or dresses. And let's be honest, they look very chic. :) Plaid is another must have for this fall so if you find the two combined into one piece, even better. Also, the colors my poncho has allow me to style it with many pieces, so all these reasons made me love it the moment I saw it.

2. Flared Jeans. Yes, please. Flared Jeans came back in trend last season and they continue to be very in this season as well. So, if you don't already own a pair since the past years, you should definitely get one now. I find them to be a like a breath of fresh air among all the skinnies and they have several advantages: they lengthen and slim your silhouette.

3. The white shirt is an item we should all have in our wardrobes, regardless the season. They are very easy to style in all kinds of outfits and in many situations they are a life saver. :) However, if you want to invest in one this season, I think you should go for the ones with a black or white neck bow tie or for the Victorian Nouveau ones, meaning for the ones with high collars, ruffles or lace.

4. The statement necklace. For me, this accessory is a timeless must-have, so if you don't have one already you should definitely buy one. You already know how many I have and that is because they make any kind of outfit look so much better and special and they give it the sparkle and glam it needs.
The necklace I'm wearing today is from Happiness Boutique and you can find it HERE at a very good price. You should definitely take a look at the great products they have: necklaces, earrings, rings and even clothes and I'm sure you'll find something to love. The customer service is great and they offer free shipping worldwide. They also offer rewards to their clients through their customer reward program and each of you can join their bi-monthly giveaway HERE , only by registering with your email. You should definitely give it a try! :)

 5. Hats. Last but not least, they continue to be a very trendy accessory this season as well. You can find them in all shapes and colors, they keep you warm and they look so good. Plenty of reasons to invest in at least one hat, right? :)

Which other items do you find to be essential this season?

Have a great week,
Andra
