Il Duomo Terraces

Shirt / Camasa - H&M || Pants / Pantaloni - Zara || Bag / Geanta - Valentino By Mario Valentino || Sunglasses / Ochelari de scare - Zara

Happy Friday, my dear ones!

Booy, I am super late with this post, not only for the fact that I haven't posted anything this week but also because it's already been two months since we had our Italian getaway. Oh well, somehow this set of pics were left behind due to the multitude of looks I had to show you, but since I didn't take any new photos last week, these ones came in handy. They were taken on our second day in Milano, when we visited the Terraces of the Dome, visit which was totally worth it. From there you have a great view over the square and towards the city, but also a closer view to the details and architecture of this majestic building. Just you know, expect it to be quite crowded. :)

The outfit I had prepared for that day was one of my faves: a light blue asymmetric shirt with a pair of gingham trousers and some black accessories. Simple, but (always) with a twist. In my opinion, this was a very fashionable, yet comfy look which also made me feel very feminine and chic. In the end, some photos with the pigeons in front of the Dome were a must. :)

On another matter, there is one week left until our next holiday and I can't wait for it, yaaay!! You can imagine that I started preparing my looks for the holiday and I will probably not take any new pictures for the blog before I go because you know...I'm channeling all my energy towards the new destination :))

So, see you soon! Of course, if you want to see what I'm up to, you can always follow me on my Instagram - @andyandra , there's where I'm most active and I will post a lot every day during our trip. :)

Have a lovely weekend,

Suit up!

Blazer / Sacou - Zara || Pants / Pantaloni - Zara || Crop top / Crop top - Zara ||
Heels / Pantofi - Primark || Bag / Geanta - Zara

Hey hey, by the time you will be reading this I will be on my way or already have arrived to our first holiday destination and I can't wait to discover this new place and take new photos, but before that I wanted to show you a new outfit and the last one for this week.

This time I chose a look which I consider to be quite appropriate for the end of summer, composed of some black and white pieces to which I added a pop of fuchsia, the blazer. I fell in love with this blazer ever since I saw it in spring and I thought it will always be a statement piece therefore I had to have it. :) Sadly the super hot weather that we had here didn't allow me to wear it too much this summer, but now that the temperatures are about to cool off a bit I know I'm going to make a lot of use of this one. Another thing which I currently love is the combination of high-waisted trousers and crop tops to which the oversized blazer comes to perfectly complete the look, making it more chic and classy. Of course, by choosing a normal top / shirt instead of a cropped one you can easily make this outfit an office-appropriate one. Then, I added a white & black bag and for the final touches, I decided to tie my hair in a pony tail with a scarf in the same non-colors. I always wear my hair down therefore trying something new is always a good idea. :)

What do you think of this look?

Have a lovely weekend,
A.

Back to school || Shein Wishlist

Back to school 1

Hey hey!

Summer is slowly coming to an end, the kids are about to go back to school soon, the grownups are going back to work after the much awaited holiday and we are all about to see the first signs of autumn soon. But this is not necessary a reason to feel sad because each season has its beauty and autumn should definitely not be underestimated. Golden leaves, pumpkin pies, warm hues, tea & hot chocolate and a good reason to add some new pieces to your wardrobe. :)
This time I found some pretty cool denim jackets, T-shirts and shirts to show you, but also some very cute flats and bags and I went for more black and white pieces, with a little bit of red and burgundy. But if you prefer other colors such a pink, mustard yellow or orange, you should know they are still very trendy. Floral prints, gingham, embroidery and ruffles are still among designers' favourites this season and investing in such a piece is always a good idea.

I selected my favourite items for this new season and I think they are all very suitable either for going back to school or to work and, as usual, I left direct links to each and one of them below the images. Let me know which is your favourite. :)

Have a lovely day,
A.

Fuchsia Gingham

 Top / Top - Zara || Skirt / Fusta - Zara || Heels / Pantofi - Primark || Bag / Geanta - Guess

Exactly one week ago I was saying that I don't wear two different prints together in one outfit..and guess what I'm doing today?! That's right, I'm wearing gingham together with floral print. 😂
Well, what can I say? I knew I wanted to wear this particular skirt that day and I remembered I had the floral printed shoes, which have a few shades of fuchsia on them as well, therefore I said I could give them a try. And I liked the combo so much that I didn't even want to see how this skirt would look with something else 😃. It's pretty, it's joyful and summerish, it's everything that I wanted from this look.

On another matter, you see that the gingham madness continues and, as if it wasn't enough that I had this print in red, black and navy blue, I had to have it in pink as well. :)) To be honest, who can resist a cute midi skirt with a big bow in the front? I know I couldn't and I'm actually glad about it because this skirt is also very comfy and the fabric is really soft and light. I paired it with a white crop top (I told you have a thing for crop tops this season) with ruffles and my fuchsia bag and I was ready to go. 😊 Taaa-daa!

How would you wear this skirt? Do you like wearing two different prints together?

Wishing you a lovely weekend!
Andra
