Nude colors & SS19 trends

This spring - summer we wear beige and nudes! It continues to be one of this season's biggest trends and I wanted of course to comply with it, even if by the time I took these photos was still quite cold.

I created my look starting with this super soft, warm and gorgeous SWEATER which is perfect for winter but also for the chilly spring days. It has an oversized style which I totally love and a really long turtleneck which had to be rolled several times 😅 and will keep you extra warm. I also like the black / beige stripes and its coziness. I decided to wear the sweater with a pleated PU leather skirt, which I haven't worn in ages and my suede brown boots. I added my sandy coat and a taupe bag to the whole ensemble and there you go...I gathered all the shades of nudes in one outfit. 😀

On another matter, spring was for me all about pastels and cute bright colors, therefore this trend was quite a surprise for me. Don't get me wrong, I love beige, browns and nudes but I think they are more appropriate for autumn, don't you think?! Anywho, this season there is a little something for everyone: prints, neon colors, bleach colors, utility overalls, cycling shorts, big unconventional hats, bows, fruity coloured suits (this I'm particularly happy about), feathers, fringes, macrame appliqués and lace.

Mix of prints

You probably noticed that this upcoming season animal prints continue to be on trend, therefore you can choose from a variety of prints (leopard, snake, zebra, tiger, etc) and be super stylish. Or you can even combine two of them, if you are a little more courageous and if those two prints are not too tacky.

I recently received this gorgeous leopard printed SWEATER, in two lovely shades of beige and brown and I wanted to do something different with it and so I decided to keep everything as simple as possible (a pair of mom jeans, a light beige coat, a taupe bag) in order to be able to add a pair of (SHOCK!) snake printed boots. I absolutely adore the result as I find it to be quite interesting and due to the same colour palette I don't think it's tacky at all. The sweater is well emphasised and I honestly couldn't wait to wear this look, fact which happened last weekend in Basel.

Also, I have to tell you that the sweater is very warm, soft, slightly oversized, pure perfection! These guys truly have the best sweaters and you should definitely take a look on their website for more designs and colours!

Cream Coat & Red Details

Hey there!

Here I am with the second look for this week, which is in fact one of my favourites because this is what I wear on a daily basis. As you can see it is quite simple, but what can you actually wear on a coooold winter day?! I, for one, just like to bundle up and hope to feel warm throughout the day. :)

So yesss, you guessed it right, a new COAT made its way in my wardrobe this past December and yeess, I have plenty of coats already but I always seem to find a new one which I love and which my closet lacks. :) Like this lovely cream beige ONE which is made out of a wool-blend material and therefore, besides its pretty special colour, it is also warm and soft. Not to mention the fact that it is perfect for autumn, winter and spring and can be styled in a million ways. What I learned so far from my collaboration with Chicwish is that they always have the loveliest coats and sweaters / cardigans and I couldn't recommend them enough to you!

This time I wore the coat with a red sweater and a pair of black coated jeans, to which I added my beloved new red bag and a colourful scarf. What do you think of this winter outfit?
