Red Gingham

Well, it looks like I'm very much into red & pink lately, but you will understand about the pink part a bit later. :) Thursdays come with a new post, right? And I was telling you in my previous post that I'm not yet over the off the shoulders trend and that I got two such blouses last week. Yes, you guessed it right, THIS is the second one. :)

Gingham print is back in trend this season and I quite like it, therefore instead of going directly with the regular black&white gingham, I thought of trying something else and so I went for a red one. Actually I really liked THIS BLOUSE when I saw it and if you remember, I even included it in a wishlist (you can see it here), so I ordered it immediately. The fabric is good, similar to cotton. I like the wide sleeves and the fact that you can wear them long as they are or pull them up a little as I did. The blouse itself can be worn in several combinations, but I thought of recreating the wishlist look since it seemed to be such a fun, chic look. So I added my fav blue jeans, a pair of red sandals, a white clutch and a choker. Chokers continue to be a must this season and they definitely replaced the statement necklaces for the moment, so I suggest to invest in one, or seven in my case. :))

You can find the blouse HERE, for only 7$. Fun fact: I think this blouse can be easily incorporated in an Oktoberfest / Wasen outfit. If you are german, you know what I mean ;).

Wish you all a lovely, sunny & warm weekend!
Love, A.

That feminine look

Oh September, you've been so good to us! This is literally a golden autumn and I truly hope it will last a little longer. As the weather was more summer-ish than autumn-ish this weekend, I took advantage and shot some new pretty things which will come on the blog soon. I must mention though that I'm not yet 100% in the autumn mood and in accordance to the weather outside neither are my outfits. I would say they are more of a mix of summer & fall, transitional ones if you will. But let's get to it..

Among the new things which made their way in my closet, I received on Friday two new blouses and the lovely skirt you see today. One of the blouses is this beautiful off the shoulder one, with polka dots and ruffles which I instantly imagined to wear with the red skirt. As you can see, I'm not yet over the off-shoulder tops and the "collection" gets bigger and bigger, but they are just so lovely and of course, I didn't have such a blouse with polka dots. I would say that the collection is now completed, but let's not lie to ourselves, we always find new lovely items to add on our wishlist and then in our wardrobe, right? :))
So this blouse has a very nice and flowy fabric and it is quite long so you can also wear it with pants, jeans, shorts, etc. And when the weather gets colder, a blazer or a cardigan over this blouse will solve the problem and it will still look cute. You can find it HERE at an amazing price.

As I mentioned above, the red skirt was the perfect match to the blouse and I am really glad that the weather allowed me to wear this outfit exactly the way I had it pictured: pretty, feminine, with a vintage vibe. :) Anyway, the skirt is flowy and made from a thiner fabric than I thought it would be, but even so it keeps its beautiful shape. The color is bright and exactly as I expected it to be and the length is perfect. You can find it HERE in three different colors: black, pink & red, and it costs below 5$!!

As you can see I was in the mood for a dressy Monday and I hope this will inspire you for the upcoming week or whenever you would need a similar outfit. :) Which are your favourite pieces/trends at the moment?

Have a great week,
Hugs!

Hello September, Hello Fall!

Autumn weekend

Red Blouse / Bluza Rosie || Jeans / Blugi || Grey Blouse / Bluza Gri || Bags / Genti ||
Red Heels / Pantofi Rosii || Black Sandals / Sandale Negre

Hey loves, a new month started today marking the end of the summer and the official beginning of a new season, a new season which comes with new trends and new items in our wardrobe (hopefully :D). However, the sun is still shining brightly around here and the temperatures are quite high for this time of the year and we won't need very thick clothes right away. So I thought of putting up a few outfit ideas for you, the first two of them being a bit more glam and fancy, if you will, while the ones below are casual.

The off the shoulder tops are still among my favs this season and I will wear them as much as the weather will allow me, after which ...I don't know, I might look for some off the shoulder sweaters haha. :)) If you want to stand out you can always go for a red blouse and some red heels, but if you something more classic, you can go for a combination of a grey blouse and black accessories, all these being put together with a cool pair of ripped jeans for an effortlessly chic look.

Bomber Jackets are still very trendy this season and you can find them in almost every color and if you combine such a jacket with a pair of dark blue jeans, some sneakers and a backpack you will get a super cool casual outfit. However, if you're not a big fan of bomber jackets you can always choose a (faux) leather jacket which is a timeless classic.
The links to each item are below the photos and the prices are amazing, just take a look!

Which is your favourite look?

Have a lovely weekend,
A.

The Striped Bodycon Dress

Of course it had to be windy that day..because why not?! Especially when we took the photos..hence the frizzy, crazy hair. :)

Moving on, I want to show you today a new outfit and since the weekend is just around the corner, I figured this would be just the perfect inspiration if you plan on going out this weekend. A lovely combination between stripes and yellow, two of my favourites elements which go so well together and complement each other. You know how much I love stripes and even if I have items with all kinds of stripes I didn't have anything with thicker black & white ones, so when I saw THIS DRESS I needed it in my wardrobe. I love its front pattern and the fact that its not just plain simple horizontal or vertical stripes was a big big plus. Being a bodycon dress it embraces every figure nicely and the length is just perfect in my opinion. The fabric is stretch and the only problem is that it is a bit sheer, but I solved this by wearing a white cami dress underneath.

I decided to wear this dress with some colorful sandals and a yellow bag and golden accessories, but you can pair it with almost any other color (red, electric blue, green, fuchsia, etc). And if you like wearing more casual outfits, you can easily pair it with some white sneakers and a denim jacket. I already tried this and it looks just great. You can find the dress HERE for only 8,5$!

I'm looking forward to know you vision of wearing it and I wish you an aweeesome weekend!

Kiss kiss,
A.

70s inspired look

Hey lovelies! Not very long ago I showed you another 70s inspired look and it was all about those kick flared jeans, if you remember (you can see it HERE). This time though I chose a denim skirt which has been in my closet for quite a while but I didn't get the chance to show it to you. As you might know, the button front denim skirts were very trendy during the seventies and so were they this season. I was never that into denim skirts, but this style got to me and I had to have one. However, I didn't want it to be too short because I wanted to be able to wear it with heels too and I didn't want the color to be too dark, nor too light. So after doing some research, I found this one at H&M and I love that it has the perfect length and that denim used-look.

For more seventies vibes I added the off the shoulders white blouse with bell sleeves which I totally love. It is a new addition to my off-the-shoulders collection and I love its light fabric and those large, flowy sleeves which make it so retro. The only problem is that I ordered it a size or two too big and I had to tuck it completely in my skirt as it is almost as long as my skirt, hence the wrinkles on the skirt. That and sitting in the car before the photos were taken, sorry for that! But to go back to the blouse, my advice to you is to always check the sizes and your measurements right (this is also a NOTE TO SELF, :)) ). You can find the blouse HERE for only 9$!

Finally, I added these lovely golden sandals with block heel which I found at Zara on SALE. At the beginning I was a bit skeptical but now I love them so much, they go with almost everything and look amazing. I know I will wear them a lot this summer. :)

Do you like seventies inspired looks?

Hugs & Kisses,
A.

Beach Styles

[EN] Hello my dears, as the weather was horrible this week and didn't let me take any new outfit photos, I thought to brighten this day up with some colorful collages which will take our thoughts away in an instant. I am constantly dreaming of  laying on a white sandy beach, while hearing the sound of the waves breaking, getting a lovely tan and sipping a refreshing beverage. Perfect, right?
Well I hope that will happen sometime soon, but until then however I chose some items which I consider to be perfect for such a day. The links to each of the items is down below, so let me know which is your fave. :)

Also, enjoy your weekend!
Kisses

Weekend fain sa aveti!
Va pup
