Forest Green

 Overall / Salopeta - HERE / AICI || Bag / Geanta - HERE / AICI || Slides / Saboti - H&M

Overalls and jumpsuits have definitely been among my favourites this year and I already got a few in several styles and lengths. If the one that I showed you in my previous post is very summerish, festival / vacation appropriate, the OVERALL I am wearing today is totally different, more elegant and delicate. I fell in love with its colour right from the beginning and I think it has the prettiest shade of green ever! I love the fact that it is very long, therefore I can wear it with heels as well, I love the palazzo style of the pants and I love its satiny fabric. It has a deep V-Neck,  a zipper at the back and adjustable straps and I, for one, find that it fits perfectly. You can find it HERE in several colours (between us, I seriously think of getting the pink one as well <3).

Straw bags are my favourite bags to wear during summer and I didn't have a black one until I saw THIS beauty on the website and I immediately saw it together with this green overall. The quality of this bag is very good (just like the one from Zara) and I love how versatile it is. I already wore it in so many combinations and the good part is that it has a lot of room inside, therefore you can fit in everything you need. My only regret it that I didn't have it with me during the holiday, it would have been perfect for so many outfits. Find it HERE.

Finally, I added a few retro elements like the polkadot scarf and a big pair of sunglasses and since I am not into high heels at the moment, I went for some very comfy black slides with bows. And to tell you the truth, I wanted to wear this exact outfit when we were in Sevilla, but...tough luck. I did wear something similar thought.. :)

What do you think?

Wishing you a pretty weekend ahead,
A.

Fengjing, Shanghai [#travelwithme]

Top, Skirt, Slides, Bag / Bluza, Fusta, Saboti, Geanta - Zara ||
Silk Scarf / Esarfa de matase- HERE / AICI

It's been a while since I had a travel post around here (probably the last one was the one from Beijing), but during the week when our friends came to visit us we saw some pretty cool new places and I thought that this particular one was worth sharing with you.

I love Shanghai because it is a city full of contrasts and the biggest one you can see is probably the fact that, on one hand, it has incredible skyscrapers and a famous skyline renowned all around the world, but on the other hand you can get lost on its streets and see parts of the real China. Also, there are many water towns / villages in and around Shanghai where you can actually see how the Chinese live their everyday lives. We already saw 3 of these water towns, Suzhou being the most famous one, but this 4th one (named Fengjing) which you can see in today's pictures was by far the best one. Probably the fact that it wasn't crowded at all had a big influence on us, but I can't even begin to tell you how lovely it was to get lost on its narrow streets without bumping into another person or without having someone yelling around you or without having vendors trying to sell you things constantly. We were even able to take a boat ride on the canals without having to bare interminable queues. In fact, we were the only ones there and it was sooo good! Not to mention that I was even able to take loads of pics 😆

I've been truly impressed by this little gem which is only one-hour drive away from Shanghai and this was not only my opinion, we all felt the same. So now you probably understand why I thought this was worth posting. Plus that I wanted to show you what I chose to wear that day - a quite casual, but chic look in yellow and black & white, to which I added the second mini scarf which I received from LILYSILK WOMEN COLLECTION and this time I chose to wear it as a bag accessory.

What do you think of this look?
Hugs, A.

The wind of change

 Dress / Rochie - HERE / AICI (similar HERE / AICI) || Scarf / Esarfa - Primark ||

Hey hey hey loves! Happy New Year to you all! I am finally back with my first post and outfit for 2017, hurray! First of all, my absence is well motivated as I've been at home until Monday, where I wanted to spend as much time as possible with my family, so I didn't really feel like writing on the blog. You get it, right? :) After that I've been on the road a lot and the big news for 2017 is that we moved to Shanghai three days ago and we are still in the process of adapting to a new home, a new (huge) city, a new culture and continent. :)

However, I couldn't wait to show you these photos I took with my lovely mom ❤ about two weeks ago, when everything was frozen and snowy and it looked so dreamy, just like a fairytale :) Of course didn't want to miss the occasion and even if it was super cold I wanted to capture this beautiful wine red dress in the prettiest scenery possible. I am not a bit fan of bodycon dresses but I pushed myself to try something new and this one is just wonderful and perfect for winter. The dress has a turtleneck, long sleeves and a midi-length which are three big pluses, while the soft fabric is knitted and hugs the body perfectly. For this look, I decided to wear it with black opaque tights and a pair of high ankle boots to which I added a colourful blanket scarf which kept me warmer and my big black
tote bag.

As 2017 is the year of changes, I also changed my hair color (as you can see) and I gave up my eternal one tone blonde hair for a ombre grey/blonde hair. :)

What is new this year for you? Let me know what you think of this outfit :)

Have a perfect weekend ❤
Love, A.
