Romantic Monday

Hello October, hello darlings!

Today I have a bit of a different post and the first one showing a little part of our home, more exactly a corner of our bedroom. Why have I decided to take the photos like this? Well, because I wanted to try something new and I thought this lovely lace dress would fit the background perfectly. And it did even if this is not the perfect fall background. :) I would say it's more spring / summer appropriate but at least together with the dress, the roses, the pink color, the decor, it gives these photos a romantic vibe, don't you think?

The dress is really beautiful and well made, it has a fabulous nude pink color and the lace details are amazing, so if you need an elegant / romantic / feminine dress for a special event, this would be just perfect. You can wear it with sandals or stilettos and why not, with flats or flat sandals if you want to be more comfortable. It would still look beautiful You can find it HERE.

On another matter, pink is my happy color and I just realized that all the outfits I want to show you this week have something to do with pink, so I guess we can call it the "Pink Week" or something :)). If last week was all about red, this week will be about pink. I just hope you won't get bored of it, but I promise I have some cute things to show you. Moreover, I have a little suprise for you: three new outfits will be up this week, instead of two! So who's excited? I know I am. :))
Until then however, let me know what you think about the dress and the photos.

Happy Monday everyone!
Love, A

the red affair

Do you also have clothes which you don't wear for a long period of time and then you remember you have them and you wear them continuously? Well I do! I tend to wear a lot every new thing I buy, sometimes so much that even the next year I don't feel like wearing it again. For example this red coat which I had for 2 years and which I wore quite a lot at the beginning, but I don't remember wearing it at all last winter. Now it's among my favorites again and I'm always happy when I'm able to reinvent my clothes.

To be honest, I have a tendency to keep everything and when my husband asks me why do I keep that certain something if I don't wear it, I always tell him that I will wear it again and so it happens most of the times. My point is, try investing in versatile pieces and keep in your closet what you think you will eventually wear again, even if it's in a year or two. Reinventing and creating new outfits with certain statement pieces is always a good idea which will also save you lots of money.

The faux-leather skirt has a similar story, I fell in love with it again this winter. I just needed to add a plaid shirt and my OTK boots, which I've been basically wearing with every skirt/dress during this holiday. The large black bag is a new addition to my closet and I totally love it. I needed such a bag so I've been wearing it constantly since I got it. Heads up, you will see it a lot here too :))
All in all, this is what I chose to wear on Christmas Eve and I think that all the red and the plaid matched the occassion perfectly, besides being a very comfy and chic look. What do you think?

Have a great day,
Andra

Happy New 2016!

Hello my dears,

My vacation came to an end, so here I am back with a new post. This is the first one for 2016, so what better way to start the year other than showing you the outfit I wore for the New Year's Eve Party we attended? The photos were taken after the NYE, but I wanted to show you my dress because I fell in love with it a while ago and I finally got it as a present for Christmas from my dear parents. :) Since that night was extremely cold, I paired it with my OTK boots but you can also wear stilettos or even sandals with it. I added a pair of very long earrings, which I figured that would match the fringes perfectly. A glass of champagne was necessary to complete the outfit and the occassion, so cheers to this new year! I just wish I had more light in order to get a better quality of the photos, sorry for that.

On another matter, I was home for three weeks and it was great! We had a lovely time with our family and friends and it was so good to disconnect from the daily routine. The only problem is to get back on track now :)) I've been meaning to post from there as well but my laptop was kinda dead for two weeks, after which I caught a wonderful cold and I had to stay in bed for 3 days and then I thought..heey, vacations are vacations so we should enjoy it. I didn't take many photos, but I still have another look to show you, don't worry!

I wish you all a wonderful new year with health, joy, kindness, happy moments, traveling and sparkles! Let's have a great new week and a lovely day, even if here it's raining heavily.

Andy

pearls & snow

Even if two days after Christmas, this year we had snow while being home. I was so happy about it because I didn't see it for about 3 years and I wanted for so long to have some photos with a white background. At home usually snows starting the end of January and there is no way I can get there during that time of the year and, well, in southern Germany we haven't got any snow, last year for sure. Also, I think winter holidays have a totally different "look" and meaning with a bit of white around. I remember when I was little we always had snow during the winter holidays and my parents were taking me in the park with the sleigh. There were so many children and that was so much fun, so it somehow reminds me of my childhood. :)

Anyway, I managed to take some photos in a beautiful square from my hometown and I love that pink light contrasting all the white on the ground. The outfit I chose is a black & white one and the IT piece is definitely the statement necklace with pearls. I borrowed the sweater from my lovely mom and the leggings have a snake print and are quite thick, which makes them perfect for winter. You already know the bag and the boots from my previous posts and I think I developed quite an obsession for them since they go with almost everything!

Have a lovely week,
A.

purple love

My darlings,

How are you? I am back from my great vacation spent at home. Everything was so good and relaxing and pretty. We managed to see so many friends whom we haven't seen in a long time, we went out, we had fun, but we also spent a lot of time with our families and solved many other things.

These beautiful photos were taken by Ionut (thank you so much!!) during our one night stay in Timisoara, the city where I did my bachelor degree and the city which will always be in my heart. You can see more of Ionut's work if you visit his blog (http://3fstreet.blogspot.de/) or his Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/IonutDumitrescu12?fref=ts), and trust me, there is a lot to be seen! :)
