tassels and joy

"Hair gets lighter. Skin gets darker. Water gets warmer. Drinks get colder. Music gets louder. Nights get longer. Life gets better." All that plus a clear blue sky, sunny days, +30 degrees, this is definitely my type of summer and I can't even tell you how happy I am I can finally enjoy it in Germany as well. I wish it could last forever. And this takes me back to my thoughts of living somewhere on a tropical island.

But going back to reality, I promised you that I'll be back, so here I am with a new, colorful look. This look is so typical for me this summer and whenever I want to feel comfortable yet chic I would go for a jumpsuit instead of a dress. As my dear friend told me today: now I have an obsession for jumpsuits as I had one for coats in winter, haha. Btw, thanks sweetie for the photos!
So that being said, I wanted a white one for this summer and I think it is one of the pieces you should have in your wardrobe because you can easily style it by adding different accessories. Not to mention how great it looks on a tanned skin, at the seaside..ahhh.
This time however I went for another boho-chic look (I told you I love this trend for SS15!) by adding a gorgeous, colorful kimono which I got from OASAP. I longed to have it for quite a while and I'm very glad it is finally mine because it is the most perfect one (yep, insert superlative here :D). The kimono trend started last summer and it continues this season as well, so I added this fourth piece in my closet and I totally love it: the colors are amazing, the fabric is light and I love the tassel detail. I consider it to be a statement piece, since it easily brightens up anything you're wearing underneath. I added some more colorful accessories to match the kimono and to get a joyful look, but the kimono surely remains the "star".

I hope you like this post and if you are interested you can find this Tribal Tassels-Trim Kimono HERE, or you can check other ones HERE.

Have a lovely end of the week,
Love, A.

  1. That Tribal Tassels-Trim Kimono is definitely a good choice for hot, sunny summer days. It adds a boohoo touch to the attire, its a traditional Japanese garment, thought (means nothing to be similar with boohoo chic:).
Anyway, I like the way you look,so artistically beautiful!
    Enjoy your summer time;)

    1. Thank you Alexandra! Yes, I wrote a bit about kimonos in an older post and it is a Japanese garment, but now it is considered a key element for the boho-chic trend, together with other colorful items :) Plus, the traditional Japanese ones were mainly long kimonos.

      Have a great summer! :)
