Like a Painting

Hey loves, on a sunny and warm Monday I have a sunny & happy post for you which I couldn't wait to show you. Why? Because it's definitely the type of outfit and photos which make you smile just by looking at them. And nooo, I'm not that narcissistic :)), I simply refer to all these colors which brighten the day. When I saw this skirt, I kinda liked it but I wasn't really sure about it. I mean, colourful things are my favs but I don't know, this just didn't convince me right from the beginning.

However, I needed something for my birthday and it was also on sale so I thought I will buy it because I will definitely find a combination I will love. Well, the thing is that I found another skirt the next day which I thought it would be more appropriate for that evening and so I ended up with two skirts. Not a problem, I was determined to take this one back, but then I found this lovely casual-chic matchy-match with a white off shoulder blouse and converse with which I instantly fell in love. To make it look even more casual I added the denim jacket and finally a yellow bag and they complement the skirt very well.

I love love love that splash of colors and it makes me think of paintings, not to mention that it can be easily styled with yellow, green, blue, white, black, purple and the list may continue. I think it is a statement piece which will stand out no matter how you choose to wear it. However, I would recommend to keep everything else around it quite simple, if you don't want to look like a Christmas tree. :))
