Very long time, no see! Yes, I've been absent around here more than usual, I know.. but there have been some busy times for me, plus that I kind of needed a break due to all the changes which have occurred in my life. Long story short, we moved back to Germany, in a new home which keeps us pretty occupied with all the decorating and arranging of old and new stuff, we've also been a few days in Romania, time in which I got a pretty bad cold, than back to Germany and so on. Moreover, we don't have a wifi connection yet, so this was another reason why I haven't been around. However, I am pretty active on my favourite platform (which is Instagram) and you should definitely follow me there in order to see my daily posts :D - @andyandra.

On another matter, Valentine's day is pretty close and I wanted to create some inspirational collages with appropriate items for that day, but then I stumbled on the beauties you can see in this post and I couldn't resist. They instantly made me think of spring and honestly, who can resist such adorable pink and white pieces? Needless to say that pink is (STILL) my favourite and happy colour and that the items which you can see above are so beautiful and romantic that they would be suitable for Valentine's Day as well.
White pieces are more delicate, but equally beautiful and I tend to wear white mostly during summer, but I think that items like these ones are perfect for spring as well. White shirts and blouses are like basics, we should all have at least one in our wardrobe.

Let me know which is your favourite piece :) The links to each item are below the images, as usual.. and at the end of this post you will find some discount codes which can be used on your checkout.

Love, A.

Embroidered Biker Jacket

Jacket / Geaca - HERE / AICI || Turtleneck Sweater / Helanca - Pimkie || Jeans / Blugi - Zara || Skirt / Fusta - H&M || Biker boots / Bocanci - H&M || Bag / Geanta - Mango

A biker jacket is one of those items which you have to have in your wardrobe. It is something that never goes out of style, something you can wear in a million combinations and on a million occasions, something that will last forever. Of course, the most basic biker jacket is a plain black one, but once you have that one and you feel a little more daring and adventurous, you can always invest in biker jackets of different colors, studded ones or, since embroidery has been on trend for the past two years probably, in an embroidered biker jacket like the one I am wearing today.

This one is a faux leather biker jacket, but it has a good quality, being quite a thick and heavy piece. The details on it are very pretty and I think they make this jacket a special, unique piece. From the moment I saw it I knew I wanted to wear it with an all black outfit, but most importantly I knew I will wear it with a tulle skirt over pants. This trend of wearing tulle skirts / dresses over jeans became one of my favs last winter and I recently found this black skirt at H&M, which I immediately thought it would be perfect for this casual look with a twist. :)

On another matter, I just got a cold so I am feeling a bit under the weather today..therefore my Monday will probably be all about hot cocoa / tea, Aspirin and chicken soup. :)

Let me know what you think and have a lovely day!

P.S: The code "LauraZF" is still valid! If you use it on your check out, you will get a discount!

The embroidered sweater

 Sweater / Pulover  - HERE / AICI || Shirt / Camasa - H&M || Jeans / Blugi - Zara ||
Boots / Bocanci - Zara || Bag / Geanta - Mango || Hat / Palarie - H&M

Hey loves, so this past weekend we were away again, this time in Guilin, China. This area is famous for its amazing nature and landscapes and we had a great time. The weather was also on our side, meaning it didn't rain at all even if the weather forecast told us something else in advance. We visited the city, we took a cruise and admired the amazing scenery on the Li River up to another city (Yangshuo), where we spent two days. In Yangshuo we rented two bikes and we explored the surroundings with their help after which we also did some bamboo rafting and that was super fun! As you can see, it was more of a trip full of sporty activities, but we enjoyed it to the fullest.
There were also 2 more things which I wanted to see really badly but unfortunately we didn't manage to cross them off the list too: 1. the rice terraces (which were quite far away and we would have needed a day only for this) and 2. the famous fishermen with cormorants (we saw some guys with the birds, but not the real deal). Oh well, maybe next time. :)

On another matter, right before we left I got another package with two amazing items and I could not have been happier as I was able to take them with me, hehe. The first one is this very beautiful embroidered SWEATER which was perfect for our walk in the city on our last day there. Besides its lovely print, the quality of this sweater is very good and I must tell you that it turned many heads around. :) The sleeves are wide but I tied them with the drawstring and made them a bit shorter, it has a high neck and the fabric is perfect for this time of the year. I choose to wear it with a shirt underneath because that's what I do if the sweaters are a bit shorter and I think this little trick emphasized the sweater even better. :) I added a pair of skinny black jeans and my biker boots with pearls but I needed some color too for my accessories and red was the best choice :)

What do you think of this look? How would you wear this sweater?

Love, A.

P.S: If you're wondering why is my bag so swollen,well it's because I was carrying my second lens in it :))

Velvet dress & red details

Dress / Rochie - HERE / AICI || Top / Top - C&A || Bag / Geanta - Local Store ||
Heels / Pantofi - Primark

I am not feeling very inspired today when it comes to writing and that's probably because I haven't been sleeping very well the past two nights. But anyway, I wanted to show you a new look and this one was also shot together with my lovely friend when we were in Germany. Yep, that means almost one month ago, therefore I should start moving with all the pics and outfits I still have to show you and make room for the new ones, right? :D

Did you notice that I didn't wear a dress around here in a long time?! Truth be told, I tend to wear them more often during the warm season than during the cold one. So anyway, I ordered this dress almost a year ago (!) and it was supposed to arrive before us coming to China, but of course it arrived exactly the day after we left so there was no way for me to get my hands on it until this time when we went home. Nonetheless, it was the perfect timing as the weather was also perfect for it and I feel that this dress fits very well this time of the year. It is a velvet dress with a beautiful red & green embroidery to which I added a striped top because I thought it would make the dress stand out more, a red bag to match the floral detail and a pair of black heels. I do feel however that it would look cool & casual with a pair of white Converse. :)

What do you think & how would you wear it?

Hugs, A.
